The self-protection module, also known as Malwarebytes Chameleon, protects Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from being stopped or modified by an infection on the system. There is also an ability to start this protection very early in the boot-up stage of the computer. This is designed for infections that stop our program during boot-up of the computer.
