Actuellement, seules quelques calculatrices HP continuent d'utiliser la notation polonaise inverse (RPN). Parmi les modèles récents, la HP 35s et la HP 50g sont les deux principales calculatrices scientifiques qui prennent en charge cette notation.

Cependant, il est important de noter que les modèles d'entrée de gamme de HP utilisent principalement une notation algébrique. De plus, certains modèles supérieurs combinent les deux notations pour répondre aux besoins d'un plus large public.

Ainsi, bien que la notation polonaise inverse soit toujours présente dans certains modèles, elle n'est plus la norme dans l'ensemble de la gamme de calculatrices HP.

Ça confirme les choix des calculatrices d'autre marques dans l'enseignement.
Elles étaient pas mal décriées pas les enseignants sous prétexte qu'elles ne respectaient pas l'écriture/syntaxe mathématique. Faut bien avouer que la logique pour s'en servir n'était pas naturelle et innée ...
Je pense que ce soft et les autres de ce genre concernent "les anciennes générations" qui l'ont connu et pratiqué sur des calculatrices matérielles.

Mais c'est un débat qui date de 40 ans !

as Shift-SL, Shift-SR, and Shift-ASR, respectively, and RJ can now be typed
as Shift-LJ.
* More accurate DET, INVRT, and matrix division for 2x2 matrices.
* When spelling out built-in function names, '-' is now accepted as an
alternative for '→', to make conversion functions easier to type.
* Menu keys that execute different functions when pressed with Shift now show
their alternate function while Shift is active. (This behavior can be
disabled and enabled using the new STATIC and DYNAMIC settings in the new
MENUS submenu of the MODES menu.)
* Decimal version: BS→N and BD→N were rounding their results to 16 digits.
